Community relations
- Establish a community consultative committee for the Kestrel Mine
- Audit against the Rio Tinto Communities standard, incorporating community input, carried out at each operation before the end of 2009
- Document and report amount of funding leveraged through community development funds
- Use results of Hunter Valley and Clermont socio economic baselines to update community relations plans at each site
- Document and report number of employees participating in RTCA funded community development activities
- Execute land access agreements with Wangan Jagalingou people for Clermont and Blair Athol mines, and with Kangoulu people for Kestrel Mine
- Establish Aboriginal community development funds at Blair Athol/Clermont and Kestrel mines
